Red-Eared Slider

Trachemys scripta elegans

Description:

Another Red-Eared Slider, spotted climbing out of a flowing drainage ditch after a typhoon, on Camp Zama, Kanagawa, Japan. It took him some effort (assuming male due to large front claws), but he eventually made it out of there and climbed away.
