Eastern gray squirrel

Sciurus carolinensis

Description:

Eastern gray squirrels are born naked with their eyes closed. These squirrels can live up to 20 years in captivity but only around 12.5 in the wild. They have a goldish tailbone with gray back and white stomache.

Habitat:

In the woods on Chebeague!

Notes:

He was attacking/dancing on this branch he/she was pouncing on the branch. It was very funny! I found it on a walk I took in the evening.
