We have been getting more than our fair share flying over our house the last couple of weeks too. Normally we see one or two, but lately much more. I have seen them following (and sometimes) harassing the red tail, and red shoulder hawks we have living (nesting) nearby. Though not the prettiest bird, I find them quite interesting to watch.
