Little Cormorant

Microcarbo niger

Description:

Small cormorant, about 50cm in length and all black bird with black webbed feet. In non-breeding attire (here), the chin is white.

Habitat:

Seen in a pond, close to salt production fields of Sabrang, the southern tip of Teknaf peninsula.
