Description:

Yellowish amorphous organism, with a sponge-like texture, growing on living and dead leaves. It is very close to the "Dog vomit slime mold" (Fuligo septica). Is it the same?

Habitat:

Hospital parquing lot.

I agree, it probably came with the plant or the soil it's in.

I agree Fuligo septica although those yellow structures have an unusual form.
