I am not sure if they are similar Viv. The ones that I saw were shaped like flowers. I'm not sure if they are edible. Good luck with the Landlady's food.

They look very similar to my spotting from yesterday Satyen http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/102... My landlady has just picked another bag of these from a rotten tree trunk in the garden. These are very good to eat apparently, not sure if yours are the same though. I am hoping for an ident but might try the landladys cooking while I'm waiting
