Description:

The red species of hibiscus often grow up to six inches wide and have a very vibrant appearance.

Habitat:

Hibiscus are commonly found in tropical areas of the globe. However, some are capable of living in places such as Africa, Mexico, Thailand, and India.

Notes:

In many places around the world the hibiscus is used to make teas and is sometimes dried and eaten.
