Maple

Acer saccharum

Notes:

Not positive that this is a sugar maple, so open to suggestions with that. I love the "helicopter" aspect of maple seeds. These are very immature, and a long way from their helicopter flight. So lovely and full of life right now.

I love maples too - we planted about 50 last year & they were very popular with the bluebirds & the polyphemus caterpillars even though some of them were only 4' tall!
