Description:

Low, upright or trailing, grey, hairy perennial 6-24in. Yellow Flowers to 4 in across, 4 petals, sometimes becoming reddish in age. Flowers open in evening and stay open all night. On cloudy spring days the flowers will stay open until about an hour before others open.

Habitat:

Sun. Dry, thin, rocky, exposed calcareous soils.
