Vulture at Evergreen Park and Recreation Center in Wichita, KS. He had his wings spread out all wide, like he was showing off, and so i snapped the pic.

Love these guys! Turkey Vultures spread their wings to warm themselves in the sun...they thermoregulate that way. They also shiver to warm up when they're cold. Their body temperature lowers during the night, so in the morning, they need to take a sun bath!
