Large female has a light brown abdomen with dark brown marking. She is beneath the web and could only be seen from the side.

Notes:

These large brown spiders have orb webs all over the yard. This web is strung from the bridge to the edge of the pond, just out of reach of the Koi. The spider is in the center of the web.
