This large ant nest is built on sandy soil, so it apears clearly against the green surrounds. The cell phone upon it shows its size. Actually, there are nest much larger than this. It has several openings like the one in photo #3.

Ava, there are nests much, much larger than this one. Goody, I sugest you don't seat very close to them, they can bite hard...
