Hippotion celerio (Linnaeus, 1758)
Hawk moth on its host plant. From wiki: Larvae typically feed on the leaves of plants such as the grape vine, Cissus, Impatiens and the Arum lily. In our place it feeds on Arrowhead Vine (Syngonium podophyllum).
Rural garden.
It is found in central and southern Asia, Africa, India, Sri Lanka and, as a migrant in southern Europe and Australia.
