Brown Anole

This is a brown anole. The scientific name of the brown anole is Anolis sagrei as per the species suggestion. (There is no "California" anole perhaps "Carolina" anole was intended). Thank you.

Looking at the markings on the tail - this appears to be a brown anole. Brown anoles have diamond, or criss cross markings on their back and down their tails. these markings can be more prominent on some, and much paler on others.

I can't find any info on the California Anole, could it be a Green Anole?
