Argynnis paphia
Non-native to Florida. About 2 inches long. Brown, black, and white.
Behind the softball field. It was crawling on leaves and vines. Not moving during picture. Temperature was 80 degrees. Trees around it. Water was not near. Water was about 100 feet away. The light was shining a little bit because of the trees above.

Argynnis are Nymphalidae from Europe and Asia. But in US are some Speyeria, which looks similar to Argynnis.
Maybe something from the genus Argynnis or Heliconius?
This should be under "Arthropods", by the way. ;)
