Description:

Largemouth bass are popular gamefish, seeking cover and waiting to ambush smaller fish or other small prey items like crayfish, frogs, and wayward lizards that cross their path.

Habitat:

Shallow edge of springhead near head spring, on a narrow lane through thick vegetation.
