Anolis carolinensis, Plestiodon fasciatus
A 5 inch male green anole and a 5 inch male five-lined skink.
Rocks and other structure around wooden porch in a 75 acre upland hardwood forest tract.
This seemed like an unusual interspecies relationship with these two lizards resting on the electrical box side by side. The male anoles are very territorial, do push-ups, and extend their pink dewlaps when other male anoles are around. They seemed oblivious to each other. I wonder how their diets differ.
