White Peacock

Anartia jatrophae

Description:

The size of this butterfly was a medium size and its wing span was very wide. The colors was white and orange, with black dots of the wings and black antennas. I did not feel its wings but from the looks the wings look very soft and delicate.

Habitat:

This is a native species to the Florida habitat. It was found on a flower. It was probably getting nectar from the flower. There was an oak tree near by and a bush. The temperature is that it was very hot. It was near a murky swamp. There was a lot of sunlight since it was very hot outside and there was not wind.

Notes:

Anjali S. The other organisms nearby was a bee. There was only one bee and a couple of flowers. Updated by Anjali S.
