Description:

Small-medium butterfly. 1.5 inch (approximate) wingspan. White with black on wing tip and females have 2 spots on mid-wing and males have only one spot. First species of butterfly seen in my area. (Early March)

Habitat:

Meadow and including wetlands and woods (Beltzville State Park) PA
