Abert Squirrel

Im down near castle rock, but actually took the picture near the top of lookout mountain. I was headed down around a tight curve and spotted the two. I was able to stop in the road and get a picture. They stopped just long enough for me to snap something.

nice! Where in Colorado are you? I tried to get a good Abert's photo yesterday at Apex Open Space Park here in Golden, but they weren't wanting to make it easy for me so I left without a photo...but luckily I got some good bee and flower photos:)
