Lyssomanes viridis

Description:

Small green spider with orange on head. Sort of translucent. Six distinct black dots in abdomen. Found at night, on underside of a magnolia leaf, behind a thin circle of spider silk. I think it was sleeping until I woke it up with my flashlight.

Habitat:

Yard in suburban/semi-rural north Georgia, on underside of a magnolia leaf, about 2 feet from ground.
