Fiddler Crabs

These crabs have orange to reddish colored claws. There were hues of green, blue and black all over their body.

I found these crabs along with the other species of crab in a muddy creek that used to be a pond. That area is saltwater. All signs of marine life from the mangroves down to the tiny fishes will soon be gone. The area will soon be reclaimed for the expansion of the subdivision where I'm currently residing.
