Description:

Spring/Summer form largely black with short tail like projections. Member of the anglewings. The underside has a small pearly question mark.

Habitat:

River woods or wooded swamps. Parks or other similar situations.

Notes:

There are several of these in my yard right now. I have rotting banana out and that is a favorite. This one is puddling on the muddy soil.
