Western Pond Turtle

Actinemys marmorata

Description:

It was approximately 19 degrees Celsius and this turtle was basking on some woody debris. It seems to have something attached to its carapace and I'm not sure what it is.

Habitat:

Mount Pisgah Arboretum, OR, USA.
