Kidney Garden spider

Araneus mitificus

Description:

light green legs, fat white abdomen with thick black u shaped mark

Habitat:

tropical forest

Notes:

I camped for 3 days at Erawan National Park. This spider set up his own space on my tent. I don't mind. My tent is often great for spottings. Animals are usually drawn to it whenever I camp in the forest.

That's great Viv that you found this spider, thanks for the ID, for both of us! Looks like you didn't have any luck finding the lilac flowered shrub yet. I appreciate you searching.
