Erythronium oregonum

Description:

Erect flower stem, pair of leaves mottled with large patches of white, light green, brown, or greenish black, 4–9 in. long, about half as wide, wavy-edged. Flowers in raceme of 1–3 flowers. Flowers creamy white to white, with or without 1 or more bands of reddish to brown markings surrounding darker yellow area at base; anthers cream to yellow; filaments flattened. Three true petals have sac-like folded appendages at base. . Subsp. leucandrum has white anthers.

Habitat:

Grows in light woods, open meadows, at low elevations
