Description:

A small, very colorful duck. His bill is hooked and is mottled black and buff in color. Close to the face the bill is bright red. His eye is red and ringed in red, set in a dark green face. Wood ducks have white 'outlines' between sections of color on their face and body. The chest is rusty red with white or buff spots. HIs body is buff with white and black lines and other rusty red parts. His wings and back are iridescent greens and blues.
