Spotting

Description:

Thistle like plant approximately 12-14 inches in diameter in open area in center of loop road around campround. There were two smaller plants in the same location. It appears to be some kind of thistle possibly an introduced plant.

Habitat:

Found in open area away from Fossil Creek in grass area in center of a loop road around the campground.

I've meant to get back to Project Noah for some time now but work, etc. has gotten in the way. I don't think that is it. The leaves on the plant I saw are more grey.
