I spotted this near a lookout in the Yuanyuang rice terraces.

That's probably the right family. I don't remember or didn't notice any smell.
Surely of the Lamiaceae family, too - the leaf looks a bit like mint or melissa...did it smell? Or a kind of deadnettle?
