Description:

A wild Muskrat in a slough getting ready to eat some dinner

Habitat:

Muskrats mostly inhabit wetlands, areas in or near salt and fresh-water marshlands, rivers, lakes, or ponds.

Notes:

Very gentle, quiet and peaceful animals but avoid ever touching or handling any wildlife as most will attack if/when they feel cornered, threatened or if their young are nearby.
