Description:

male and female Wild Turkey found on the same day, different locations but in the same (Battle lake) township

Habitat:

deciduous,mixed and riparian woodlands; occasionally eats waste grain and corn in fall and winter

Notes:

Right now (first weeks of April) the Tom Turkey are strutting around trying to attract the female's attention.
