Description:

The Gemsbok or South Arfican oryx is a large, strongly built and massive antelope of arid regions. At shoulder, it stands at about 1,2 m of height. Mainly earth-brown with black upper legs, tail and belly, and white lower legs. The face is distinctively black and white decorated; and it sports spectacular, long (about 80 cm in length) and rather straight horns.

Seen in arid, rocky and wooded regions in north-western Namibian province Kunene,
