Long-horned Beetle

Description:

2 to 3 cm long, grey with four black spots on elytras.

Habitat:

Found in Southeastern Europe, usually seen by night in forests - here, close to a wooded zones but on outskirts of a mediterranean town (Sibenik).

Notes:

According to IUCN, this beetle is considered vulnerable and is protected. Some authors consider it as a subspecies of M. asper.
