Sorry for the delay. It was dark when I got home last night. New picture taken this morning. Should I take this egg case inside and protect from the cold?

This is an egg case from a mantis. They are called ootheca. Do you have any other angles? I might be able to tell you genus or species if I can see the other side. Here is a link: http://bugguide.net/index.php?q=search&a...
