Morel Mushroom

Morchella esculenta

Description:

Morchella mushroom

Habitat:

Wooded area at edge of my parents home.

Notes:

Just happened upon them and decided to snap a few photos. Rogersmushrooms.com says they can be eaten but that they must be cooked first. Not an expert so I think I'll keep getting my mushrooms on a pizza and leave the wild ones alone.
