White-collared Kingfisher

Todirhampus chloris collaris


It is blueish above while the underparts is white. There is a white collar around the neck, giving the birds its name. This race have a white stripe over the eye and a white spot between the eye and bill. The large bill is blackish. Females tend to be greener than the males.


With the sea and rice fields nearby.
