Lacewing larvae ?

Neuroptera,

Description:

Small larvae, body length 4mm. As part of its camouflage, it has a big ball of 'poo' on its back. The camouflage was twice the size originally. From above it was hard to see. Movement was the only thing that gave it away.

Habitat:

Found on our picnic table, James Cook University, Cairns campus
