Tan/ orange in the centre of the wings, then a bigger yellow spot and has black along the edge with 3 smaller cream/ yellow spots. It also has 3 spots on the bottom of the wing as well.
This was in urban area, in our garden.
Really hard to take photos of as they don't keep still, and fly erratically. This butterfly is Native to New Zealand.
