I've moved this slug from the Arthropods category to the Other category for you. Wikipedia defines arthropods this way: An arthropod is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton (external skeleton), a segmented body, and jointed appendages.

Nice shot! As oxyjack mentioned, this is a type of Banana Slug. Unfortunately this doesn't really narrow it down very far. You can research local wildlife references to see if there are certain types found in your area. Good luck :)
