Thanks for your comment Neil, I was also surprised to see many of these fruits on the floor coming from a quite big tree in the west edge of the park

Nice spotting, Jordi. I've never seen or heard of this species before. I like the term and concept "ghost of evolution" mentioned in Wikipedia.
