Description:

A large, majestic and broad winged eagle. The adult is unmistakable and easily recognized even from far away, with its black to dark brown coat, chestnut belly and underwings, and bright white chest, neck and head. Massif and yellow raptor's bill with black tip.

Habitat:

The banks of Awassa lake, a forested and here-and-there swampy area; very famous for birds and bird-watching; some other animals can also be observed there. Absolutely stunning bird-watching experience at dawn.
