A clear clam-shaped lerp about 10mm wide. Beautiful ripples and rings seen on the surface, radiating from one point as in a clam.
This was spotted on a eucalyptus leaf of a lone gum - ? species
These always fascinate me. I'd love to find a chocolate clam lerp one day. Lerps are covers made by scale insect nymphs, to hide under, during development.
