Description:

Deciduous shrub with twining stems. Leaves oval; lower ones stalked, those below flowers fused and enclosing stem. Flowers pale yellow, tinger pink, 35-45mm long; in clusters, April-July. Berries red.

Habitat:

Maquis, garrigue and scrub. Widespread.
