Goldenrod Crab Spider

Description:

Vibrant yellow spider with almost transparent legs and thorax. These spiders can be as small as 3 mm but this one was good size and close to 9 mm. This spider does not have any lines running down its' abdomen but does have 8 dots running down the abdomen in two rows that are parallel to each other.

Habitat:

This spider was found in a yellow flower (Day Lily?) in the flower bed in my front yard in Grand Island, Nebraska at 565 masl.
