"Joyce Terry" - T. Muhlestein 1974: Bicolor with yellow standards and beards, white falls edged in yellow. ::Also known as “Bearded Iris” these Iris are outstanding for their unusual color, design and sturdy, vigorous growth habit. They are hardy, disease and drought-resistant plants. Long blooming in late spring and early summer, with handsome green sword like foliage.

Habitat:

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Joyce Terry is generally regarded as a very hardy plant, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. The USDA Hardiness Zones typically associated with Joyce Terry are Zone 3 and Zone 9. Joyce Terry needs a soil ph of 6.1 to 7.8 (acidic to alkaline soil).
