Jack, squirrels do exist in Brazil, so a squirrel fly would feel at home here! I'll name it as you suggested until someone shows me it is wrong. Emasculator, huh? I hope it never mistake me for a squirrel...

And all the Cuterebra specialize on rodents, so the common name could simply be "Rodent Bot Fly".

Sergio, it's definitely a bot fly in the genus Cuterebra, but I'm not definite the squirrel bot fly occurs in Brazil.
