Mototi Octopus

Amphioctopus siamensis

Description:

The mototi octopus, also called the poison ocellate octopus, is extremely venomous and exhibits a blue ring on each side of its body, below the eye, which becomes brighter when the octopus is agitated. This mototi made its home in a Grey Goose vodka bottle and was not shy of divers. It would leave the bottle to move around rocks and remove/replace them inside the bottle.

Habitat:

Mototi octopus prefer rocky and rubble areas, giving them ample places to hide and ambush predators.

Although a very nice picture, it doesn't shows the occellated blue rings to give a clear and distinctive identification of this beautiful octopus.
It would be good if you can upload additional pictures to show that :D

This is a fantastic shot. Great colors and contrast, and I think what really brings it all together is the geese, funny enough. Great story telling shot.
