Description:

Small-sized bird, beak to tip of tail of about 11 cm. Adult birds are brown on the upper side of the neck and body, with a somewhat cryptic graffiti colored and white fur stalk. Reddish brown throat. The down side is white, with a similar painting brown scales on the chest and sides of the body. [2] Stomach bottom up white ass. Young birds with chest and abdomen dark yellow to brown slightly dirty, without scales [3]. Males with females did not differ in appearance.

Habitat:

Kites peking common in rural and urban environments, especially near the rice fields or fields. The main food of this bird is a variety of seeds of grasses including rice [3]. Therefore bondol howl often visited the fields, meadows, open fields and gardens vegetated. Live in pairs or in small groups, Kites howl often observed clustered grain consuming grains in the bush grass or even down to the ground. These groups are generally agile and move together, while continuing to call each other a creaking noise.
