Description:

This approximately 3 inch lizard was hanging out in the high desert south of Pagosa Springs. It has a rather flat body with scales and what looks like body armor or horns on its back. It looks like it has a collar that also is made of horns.

Habitat:

Depending on the species , depends on where they live - they can range from desert to forest
