Sorry so slow in response. I found this at Lakeside Wilderness Area here in Branson. I'd love to accompany others out to show them around. I've found a great number of plants and wildlife there. More and more foot traffic every day, though.

Hi Nann,

Was this flower growing in a wild situation (i.e., not in a garden)? It has stumped all of the botanists we contacted and is likely a new species for the state of Missouri. Do you have more photos of this plant? Would you mind taking us to the site next spring?
